GreenCore

Beyond Energy, Towards Impact
WHAT GREENCORE STANDS FOR

From renewable potential to industrial resilience.

01

Sustainable Energy & Hydrogen Infrastructure

meum tec GreenCore consolidates the group’s activities in the field of sustainable energy and hydrogen infrastructure. The focus lies on the development of industrial solutions for green hydrogen production and the creation of resilient energy systems with a long-term supply perspective.

02

Scalable Industrial Applications

GreenCore aims to make renewable energy economically viable and transfer it into scalable industrial applications. As a strategic division, GreenCore establishes the foundation for energy security, industrial transformation, and a resilient future infrastructure within the meum tec Group.

Production facility in development

GreenCore is building the energy infrastructure for a new industrial reality. We harness, store, and transform renewable energy — with a clear focus on green hydrogen and scalable energy systems designed for the industries of tomorrow.

Core principles
GreenCore converts underutilized energy into controlled, deployable infrastructure, designed for performance and long-term stability.
core principle #1
Energy Fully Utilized
Surplus energy is not wasted, it is captured, converted, and deployed as usable infrastructure. GreenCore transforms intermittent renewable supply into stable, productive output.
core principle #2
One Integrated Energy System
Renewable generation, storage, and delivery are designed as a single architecture, ensuring energy remains usable across time, systems, and applications.
core principle #3
Built for Scale and Market Use
GreenCore systems are engineered for industrial deployment; aligned with real demand, scalable by design, and structured for long-term economic viability.

GreenCore's Vision for Green Hydrogen in Europe
GreenCore’s vision is to help accelerate Europe’s transition toward a resilient hydrogen economy by transforming surplus renewable energy into scalable industrial infrastructure. A growing framework of directives and initiatives is building durable, long-term demand for renewable hydrogen and cleaner industrial energy across the continent.

GreenCore is built to supply that demand. Our infrastructure, projects, and offtake areshaped around where this framework is heading: producing green hydrogen at industrial scale, integrating it into existing energy systems, and directing it toward the sectors Europe is working hardest to decarbonise.

Each of the initiatives belowdefines part of that direction — and part of the role GreenCore ispositioned to play in it."

EU Policy Framework

European policy is translating climate ambition into industrial demand.

Each of the initiatives below defines part of that direction — and part of the role GreenCore is positioned to play in it.

European policy flow from policy to demand to infrastructure

01

RED III renewable hydrogen

Renewable Hydrogen

RED III (Renewable Energy Directive)

Sets binding targets for renewable hydrogen use in industry and transport. GreenCore produces the renewable hydrogen this demand requires, supporting industrial users working to meet their obligations under the directive.

02

ReFuelEU aviation

Aviation

ReFuelEU (Aviation)

Mandates rising shares of sustainable aviation fuels, including hydrogen-derived fuels. GreenCore’s hydrogen production supports the feedstock base this transition depends on.

03

FuelEU Maritime

Maritime

FuelEU Maritime

Requires progressively cleaner marine fuels, including hydrogen-based derivatives such as ammonia. GreenCore’s production and distribution — including ammonia — is positioned to serve maritime decarbonisation demand.

04

CBAM carbon border adjustment mechanism

Carbon Border

CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)

Prices the carbon embedded in imported goods, narrowing the cost gap between fossil-based and green hydrogen. This strengthens the competitiveness of the clean hydrogen GreenCore produces.

05

EU ETS emissions trading system

Carbon Pricing

EU ETS (Emissions Trading System)

Puts a rising price on carbon emissions across European industry, increasing the value of switching to clean energy. This reinforces long-term demand for the low-carbon supply GreenCore is built to provide.
